I have been in the industry for 28 years and a salon owner for over 20. I can honestly say I love my job. Hairdressing is a passion for me and I love nothing more than learning new techniques. I do this by visiting Hair Expo annually and attending as many seminars and shows as I can throughout the year. I love to bring these looks back to my wonderful clients. My other passion is to educate and provide a positive and nurturing work place for the up and coming hairdressers of tomorrow. I like to spend time consulting with my clients to create their looks and to understand their lifestyle, so I can determine what will work best for them. The most rewarding part of my day is making clients feel confident and empowered by their hair. I constantly strive to educate my staff to provide consistent, superior customer service and to educate their clients about the best home haircare and styling advice. We like to make every person who walks through the door feel welcome and comfortable in our environment.

I have been hairdressing for 20 years. During that time I took a short break to have a family. I have been working at jacou for 8 years now and I love coming to work and being inspired by the team around me. My passion shows in my work. I am constantly evolving and updating my looks from the many seminars that I attend throughout the year. Precision cutting for men and women is my strength. I love colouring and producing bold colours using different techniques.

Nikki Director/Salon Manager

I have been at jacou for 7 years. The team are constantly producing inspiration work and its great to be surrounded by others that share my passion for hair.I oversee salon training for our Rising Stars to ensure the stay true to the jacou way.
Cutting hair is what gets me out of bed in the morning! . I keep up to date with current trends in hair and products through workshops and education with, Kevin Murphy and L’Oreal. I have recently worked at fashion week with Kevin Murphy for Myer fashion week. I specialize in creating shorter textured styles with bold colours right through to long hair with subtle foiling techniques. I will take the time to ensure I create a look that compliments you and your style. I also enjoy styling, if you want that perfect blowave or upstyle I would love to see you

Vicky Director

Available Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.  

I have worked at jacou for 9 yrs. Initially, I was full time but since having a family I now work part time and love being a part of the team at jacou. I have been in the industry for over 20 yrs and I specialize in Cut , Color and I am an expert with curly hair. I feel I am a great listener and this helps me to achieve wonderful results for my clients by understanding their needs concerns about their hair.

With over 15 years experience as a salon co coordinator, it is a great privilege to now be a part of the Jacou team. I could not ask for a more fun and positive work environment.
My passion lies in customer service and having all of our clients leave Jacou feeling happy and pampered. My role in the salon is to not only to make all of the bookings but to also make sure the salon is running smoothly so all of our clients have an enjoyable jacou experience. I always have had strong a passion for hairdressing for all things hair and beauty.I look forward to attending seminars and workshops to learn new techniques and skills.  I feel very privileged to be a part of such a friendly and inspirational team here at jacou. I was very inspired by my first Hair Expo in Sydney with all the shows I attended. I have also been lucky to work at fashion week with L’oreal and Kevin Murphy. I have entered in the HBIA hairdressing comps and the IHS comps with the support of the team. Recently I was responsible for a salon photo shoot. This was a highlight as I was able to see my vision become a reality with my hair and make up skills to create a beautiful collection.

I am a Snr Stylist at jacou and I am very passionate about this industry and my career.  I love that every day is never the same in the world of hair.

I have recently attended a number of cutting courses and styling workshops and I love taking these new techniques back to the salon for my clients. I believe that health of the hair and the products that clients use at home play a vital role in achieving the desire style, so I enjoy educating my clients and seeing them achieve their goals by having healthy hair, beauty and confidence.

Victoria Snr Stylist

With seven years experience in the hairdressing industry, I have become quite the perfectionist and take great pride in my work. My passion lies in total look cut & color . I love creating beautiful colour work for all of my clients. I will do everything in my power to make you feel happy and satisfied with your service whilst in my chair. I take the time to get to know you and in turn can offer you a number of options suitable for you. I love creating that perfect look for that special night too. Whether it be a casual understated look or a super polished formal do.
I am quirky and a bit of a dork! I have many colourful stories to tell but also a fabulous listener. I look forward to taking care you in the salon.

Tamara Stylist

I am newly qualified after completing my training at Jacou. My passion lies in colour and I am always striving to learn new techniques by attending L’Oreal color courses and Kevin Murphy workshops and learning from the other brilliant hairstylists in the salon.
What I love most is looking after my clients and making them feel extra
special. I like to understand my clients expectations by have a good chat before I commence any service.

Lucy Rising Star Stylist

I am in my second year of hairdressing at jacou. I love everything hair and I’m excited about starting my career in such a great salon. I feel I have found the perfect place to learn hairdressing.
I am also studying Beauty Therapy at the same time which fuels my other passion for beauty and make up. I am continuously striving to stay on top of the hair and beauty trends and regularly attend workshops and seminars to further my education. I am ambitious and passionate about my career and I love creating amazing looks for my clients.

Carly Rising Star Stylist

I am a second year apprentice at Jacou, with a passion for all things hair and makeup. I love fun hair and have a soft spot for vivid pastel colours and balayage. My specialty lies in blowaving and hair styling……….curls being my favourite look!!!
I’m excited to continue my apprenticeship at Jacou and look forward to furthering my education and learn as much as I can about hairdressing.
